In the middle of the Detroit River, nestled between Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Canada, is a small island that is home to one of my favorite places on earth - The Belle Isle Conservatory. The Belle Isle collection was inspired by the botanical gardens within the conservatory as well as the breathtakingly beautiful glass structure that encases it. Walking through the gardens, there is a feeling that you have been transported to a different time and place. It is, in a word, magical.

The Connemara Collection was inspired by a trip I took with my father and sister along the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast of Ireland. The beauty of the landscape was stunning everywhere we stopped on our travels, but the Connemara region west of Galway was a particular favorite of ours. The wild rolling pastures and scenic mountain views are forever burned in my memory as some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen.

My goal with this collection was to celebrate the beauty of the British Virgin Islands and its people with a collection that is bursting with vibrant colors and a fun, playful quality that evokes the spirit of the islands. The Anegada Collection, named after one of my favorite islands in this Caribbean archipelago, is my love letter to a place and people that holds an immensely special place in my heart.

The Pemberly Collection is inspired by my love, or more accurately, obsession with British period dramas. Named after Mr. Darcy’s English countryside estate in Jane Austin’s novel Pride and Prejudice, Pemberly came into being during Covid times as I spent long hours cuddled up on the couch drawing while gathering inspiration from the beautiful costumes and interiors of my favorite movies and tv shows of the genre.
